For really good advise on Sculpting I would PM “Sick” (a member on this forum who is incredibly well known for his incredible sculpting skill) He will give yuo any information you need, I am sure of it. My priority is to provide high-quality results in a timely manner. Through the rendering process you will start losing details, so making them exxagerated keaps them alive through the process, and makes a better feel. The models available for design encompass consumer products, sculptures, statues, game characters, toys, adult toys, animals, mechanical components, PCB enclosures, automotive items, NFT conversion for 3D printing, creation of molds for 3D printing, and low poly 3D models. And making details more exaggerated than need be.

When sculpting a high res mesh, the key is to use the polys well. Top 3D characters for animations, games, and architectural visualizations.

If it is for a game, yuo will need virtually no polys, and thus allmost all detail will be in the normal maps. Free Characters anime Blender 3D models for download, files in blend with low poly, animated, rigged, game, and VR options. If it is for an animation, you will need to go lower poly (because of animation and rigging and rendering ect.) and thus I would advise using a normal map to get small details, and use mesh to get the rest. If it is for a still image, then go crazy with detail, sculpt everything from everything. What do you WANT it for is a better question. Technically you can go as complex as you want, but I assume hat isn’t what yuo are asking.
